Who?

Hi it’s me, Trey Graham. I covered arts and culture for way too many years at places like NPR, USA Today, the Washington City Paper, and so on. I helped (in a small way) create a thing called Pop Culture Happy Hour. Now I host a classical radio show. Been known to geek out about German art song.

What?

This is In Good Company, an ongoing journal that lets me share good things with people I love (and people I’m sure I would) while processing enough of my questions and feelings and exasperations about the world to remain relatively sane.

Why?

Yeah, I still tweet, and sure, I’m still on Facebook. But those platforms (a) are Forces for Chaos and Evil, and (b) they don’t always show you the good stuff.

Here, you get all my foolishness — and with any luck some content that’ll make you sing or think or wiggle with joy — once or twice a week, via a handy email newsletter. (Or whenever you like, of course, in this here web version.)

Sign up now so you don’t miss any of the goodness:

Also, kindly tell your friends about it.

(If you think they’ll like it.)

(And me.)

Pretty please.

<curtsies, exits>

Oh and also:

If you feel like Twitter and Facebook used to help bring people together but mostly just make you mad and anxious nowadays, joining me here is a way to stay in touch with me and with other people like you. In other words people who have some enthusiasms, and maybe even a sense of humanity, in common. At least I hope so.
